So here's what we love about this kitchen:
- a detail... wide plank floors! break away from the herd and do something unusual with a wider plank.
- the airy, clean, light sense you get from the minimalist and monochromatic approach (white cabinets upper and lower, white paint, grey-and-white marble, silver toned accents).
- the excellent planning for use of space: what was most needed?
These homeowners weren't afraid to make changes to suit their current lifestyle. A more open floorplan with a specific flow of traffic was obviously called for, for this young family. As you can see they also learned what they loved about the last kitchen, and kept a ledge i the new design, for kids to snack and do homework!
